At 26:47, I have no idea why the equation of the variance is like that. Why both probs f(X) and E[f(Y|X)] have squares each. I think that it should be avg of (f(X) – E[f(Y|X)])^2, isn't it?

I did not get the reason of why bayesian P(W/X,Y) is intractable , infeasible …

The future of deep learning will be people using some sort of cloud platform where users can chain together heavily optimised and specialised predefined sets of neural networks.

Lack of trust and uncertainty. That's huge when a life is on the line #humanbrainisawesome

I started Automated Machine Learning 3 years before Google released theirs. I was devestated, but happy for them.
As a molecular biologist with a special interested in evolution and population genetics I naturally used a "genetic algorithm" approach and then "bred" my deepnets into different lineages.
There were several drawbacks to the method, but I am still a little proud 🙂

Hey nvidia ! Cool have one in the duce robot along with 2 pi 4 a pi 3 and latte panda I may take ducee to this level at some point . she makes a good point too much expectation for something that is only ever going to do what it is programmed to do . but who knows .if anyone actually succeeds at making a working c3 po I hope it is derived from a labor of love and not some product or military influence.👍😀 that is probably the best way to prevent rogue artificial intelligence 👍😁 good lecture.

What are you guys talking about "neural networks are out"? Are you saying they're not useful? Where does she say, "neural networks are out"?

I always had my suspicions about the robustness of labels, and was about to do a randomization test myself. Interesting to see the results confirmed my suspicions well beyond my expectation.

I'm watching every one of these videos and want to go deeper. I've found out that Coursera has courses on Deep Learning and Machine Learning. Does anyone here know the courses? Which one of these 2 is more recommended?
