Check out my video on the Titanic – I think you'll like it https://youtu.be/SffkBc1MQ40
Thanks a lot.
What about ian good fellows โthe deep learning bookโ you think either of these are good?
Thanks. Just bought this book today from Amazon, but returning it. Was a bit hesitant, but just remember I am from India and Brits need to pay reparations to us not me.
That's so unbelievable for me that someone is giving his book for free in todays world.
I took a look at the book and decided to buy. Now I am half ways through – here my five pence (so far): I liked that you get a collation of all (or at least most) of the relevant topics: linear algebra, calculus, some tensor stuff, probability, optimization theory etc. That's nice, because you have a point to start with. I like, that they give some worked out examples and tell about how the things they explain will relate to Machine Learning – thus helping to avoid getting lost in the sheer amount of topics to be mastered. In the text and especially at the end of the chapters there are hints about literature: what to read to get a deeper insight and other sources for self-study. I like that, too – and without trying to make the book less than it is, I might say, that this hints to other sources might be the most valuable part of the book: at least I myself often need more than one explanation for the same thing, when studying by myself. Sometimes I can only understand something, if I know "the whole truth", i.e. if I dig down to the bottom.
In how far this book with about 350 pages is enough mathematics for ML, I can't say: I'm trying to learn ML myself and have not managed to get a job in the field yet, so I have no experience to give an estimate. But what I can say is, that it seems to me, a very good point to start from.
Great sharing, many many thanks
By the way, you fulfilled my wish to KNOW and SEE what were the birds' shadow in the background! Love it. Thanks for that!
This reminds us "just don't stick your nose in a book or hands in a computer all day long. Just get a walk and see some Turkeys !" ๐ฆ
I like your videos. I've seen a few. The videos I've seen from you are well distilled. It's nice. Also. You're funny. But not too funny. Which is also nice.
Do we need data structures?
You can get the book for free but you won't have solutions to exercises!
Came for math, stayed for turkey.
The internet

Amazing book๏ผ๏ผ๏ผThanks for your recommendation.
If only I could learn all that maths without doing maths. ๐
These turkeys were interested in learning ML too.
I just bought the 2e edition of the machine learning with skikit book you recommended should I also buy this book or is the math in the book machine learning book enough. Ps: I have a bit of nolage
about calculus and gradient descent but don't understand it well because I am in my first year of high school. So I really want a book to understand the math. ๐
Thanks
Bien vergeador
Love this, thank you!
Wow! My linear algebra lecturer showed my class this book when he taught us abt eigenvector. It's indeed an amazing book!
Wish you had uploaded it 2-3 months ago. I would have easily passed my ML exam. Weak at Math stuff and kind of annoying at times specifically during an exam. We have to use our analytical skills to solve new problems instead of just theory stuff. Will surely give another try after improving my preperation.
Thank you
Came for free ML book, got turkey instead ๐คฃ
Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely love this guy
Thanks b0ss
Thank you, regards from Argentina
Thanks
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH
Hands on Mathematics for Deep Learning by Jay Dawanai is my choice ๐๐ป๐๐ป
Wonderful book!!
Nice find. Downloaded the PDF for a rainy day. I hope it rains soon.
