Using Anaconda Environments can save you a serious amount of time when it comes to python programming. In this short tutorial, I explain the concept of environments and why we need to use them. I also give a short demonstration of Jupyter Notebook. If you have any questions or want to request a tutorial just leave a comment below.

Why would you use pip alongside conda? Besides that to get the kernels available just conda install nb_conda_kernels.

Why do we need to make a kernel for each env? Does it affect the scripts running?

I got this issue- I created v.env of py3.5 and after activating I tried conda install pip to which it asked me for list packages(it had pip20, python 3.
7 and others mentioned), I pressed Y and now the env version is 3.7 .How do I maintain the version of my python? I need to use opencv which needs python 3.6 or less

I don’t understand why you would create a new type of Kernel …
Why not using Python 3 ? I mean what’s the added value of using your personnalized one ?

It's not working in my case. It just says "kernel starting please wait " at the top right corner and nothing's working

Edit: Finally figured out the solution. Only thing I had to do was run the command : conda install jupyter inside the environment and then start jupyter again. Hope this helps.

For some reason, I keep getting a Kernel Error at the top right of the notebook. I can't run any code, and all I'm getting is permission denied in the error logs.
