Great Video and it did help me clear my doubts about the difference between the two topics. It would be really wonderful if you could make a video on the pathway to learning ML and getting a job, especially for non-software background people like me :P, who are a lateral entry into this field ( I am from a mechanical background) and with basic programming skills. Keep up the good work 🙂

    What do I think?
    I can't fucking decide 😂
I am in the process of choosing a masters rn after math bachelor, supposedly I would apply for data science and statistics to be more broad but I really love applied machine learning..
But I agree it took me months to realise that data science is an umbrella word and that companies call 5 different roles a data scientist. If I had seen your video I would have known earlier haha

Great video! I'm struggling with the same problem. Do you have any advice to aspiring machine learning engineers?

nice video, thanks, that would be better if its length was no more than 14-15 minutes, it is a psychological threshold, i suppose. take care

Gracias por el vídeo Andrea. Yo llevo tiempo moverme en españa de Data Engineer a ML Engineer y se hace complicado. He estado de Data Scientist pero el estar analizando datos y limpiándolos todo el día, no va conmigo.

    Un saludo

Do big companies take ml engineers without a PhD or master's degree

The only requirement to being a Data Scientist is calling yourself one haha. Great video and these insights are so useful I can totally relate. Finding the "right" Data Science job is really very difficult.

Very good video quality, but still there are only few subscribers) it’s time to move forward, for example through the Utify.io service, I recommend.

Hola Andrea. Can't wait for another video!

Good insights, Andrea. There's a big difference in having autonomy to explore the limits of one's creativity versus not having it and performing tasks that may otherwise be routine in nature (my apologies for the oversimplification). However, neither one is better or worse than the other; they're just different, and it serves the CS student well to understand in which of the two camps he or she feels more comfortable with to better enjoy the success of his/her career. I look forward to more videos from you. Cheers!
