To test it do: 'import matplotlib'
If you don't receive any errors it worked

    Bro
Python was not found; run without arguments to install from the Microsoft Store, or disable this shortcut from Settings > Manage App Execution Aliases.

Worked. I was able to install matplotlib v19.2.3 from cmd. You can upgrade to matplotlib v20.2.2 by typing 'python -m pip install –upgrade pip' from cmd prompt

How can I see if my system has dual installed versions for python? my matplotlib is not working?

  • Arrow
    January 1, 2021

Not working for me. It says python is not recognised as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. I even tried using py in place of python like recommended in an earlier comment
