Parking For Students

Parking is free for students who are currently enrolled. To get a and access to the Downtown parking using your 91做厙 ID, please visit one of the 91做厙 Police offices listed below. 

  • Parham Road Campus, Burnette Hall, Suite 100
  • Downtown Campus, Lobby
  • Goochland Campus, Lobby of Building C20

If you experience any problems with your ID card allowing access into/from the Downtown Campus parking garage, please contact the Parking Manager located on the first level of the Downtown Campus parking garage adjacent to the cashier booth or call (804) 523-5465. 

Parking For Staff

Parking is free for faculty and staff. To get a and access to the Downtown parking using your 91做厙 ID, please visit one of the 91做厙 Police offices listed below.

Faculty and Staff receive hanging tags that must be displayed in the review mirror. For faculty and staff that use a motorcycle, a decal is available.  

Decals

Decals are used college-wide and must be displayed correctly in one of two locations on your vehicle:

  • On the rear bumper
  • Outside the rear window

The vehicle operator is responsible for ensuring that an official 91做厙 parking decal is current and properly displayed on the vehicle at all times. Failure to display a current decal may result in your vehicle being towed at the owner's expense. Parking decals are issued by the Department of Police at each campus. Issuing dates will be announced for each semester.

All individuals parking at the Downtown Campus without a current ID card and parking decal are subjected to the posted parking fees.    

Parking Regulations

  • No parking is permitted in handicapped designated areas except as approved by DMV.
  • No parking is permitted in yellow-painted areas or any other area which is not marked with a line to indicate parking.
  • Vehicles are not permitted to occupy two parking spaces.
  • No parking is permitted in the loading dock area except for loading and unloading vehicles. Vehicles must be moved immediately after loading and unloading.
  • No parking is allowed in driveways, exits or entrance areas, alleyways, or grassy areas.
  • Everyone must strictly follow all college parking regulations and traffic signs. A violation of any college parking regulation may result in the vehicle being towed at the owner's expense.

Shuttle Service  

Fall Shuttle Service Schedule (Beginning August 26th, 2024)

Connecting the Parham Road Campus (PRC) to the Downtown Campus (DTC) and the Kitchens in Church Hill. 

91做厙 students and employees can ride the 91做厙 Shuttle, the driver may require you to display a valid  91做厙 ID card. (ID Cards)

The Main route runs continuously, beginning at 7:40 a.m. - 10:45 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:40 am-5:40 pm on Friday. There is no service on Saturdays, holidays, and between semesters or during breaks; the shuttle only runs when classes are in session.

Shuttles are equipped with audio and video surveillance

Shuttle Schedule:

  • Parham Road Campus: 20 minutes past the hour: i.e., 8:20, 9:20, 
  • Downtown Campus: 40 minutes past the hour, i.e., 7:40, 8:40, etc. 
  • The Kitchens: 50 minutes past the hour, i.e., 7:50, 8:50, etc. 

Shuttle Stops

  • DTC - 8th Street near the intersection of Jackson and 8th
  • PRC - In front of Georgiadis Hall
  • The Kitchens - In front of building at 25th and Nine Mile  

Traffic, weather, and other issues may cause delays or interruptions in service.
